Notifications & Alerts

VG Connect's notifications can be customized to alert you via email, SMS, or WhatsApp for all or qualified leads, and a distribution list can be set up to notify multiple team members.

Notifications

The Notifications section allows you to fully control how and when you’re alerted about customer interactions with your VG Connect assistant. You can choose to receive notifications via email, SMS, or WhatsApp, with support for phone numbers from up to 20 countries for both SMS and WhatsApp alerts.

To customize your notifications, you can decide whether to be notified for every conversation or only for qualified leads. A lead is considered qualified if they meet specific criteria that you define—such as providing contact information, expressing interest in your service, and being located in the regions you serve. If a customer doesn’t meet these criteria (e.g., they're in Los Angeles but you only serve Seattle), you won’t receive a notification.

To further refine the criteria that qualifies a lead, you can adjust the settings in the Advanced Options section.

Notifying Multiple People

If you need multiple people to receive notifications, you can create a distribution list as a workaround. Simply set up a new email address, such as "notifications@yourcompany.com" and add all relevant team members to the distribution list. This way, everyone on the list will receive the notifications sent from VG Connect, ensuring no important lead is missed.
